Hi!
Welcome to my website and thank you for your interest.
Those of you that have been here before are probably going into shock about now. It’s true though - a brand new letter. After making way too many promises and maybe a bit of stalling, I now have to pay the fiddler.
A lot has happened since the last update. Traded the ranch in Montana for one in West Texas and am in the final stages of building studio, corrals, headquarters, etc. Just in time to start repairing. That seems to never end on a ranch. I did bring the longhorn steers, wild horses, and of course all the ranch geldings. They’ve enjoyed the winter here, I can tell you that.
Thanks to a dear and generous friend I’ll be taking horses, clay, and paint and spending summers in Wyoming. I’ll be able to get my "mountain fix."
My first show as a new member of CAA was in October 2005 at the Phoenix Art Museum. It was a humbling, scary event for me with a thousand other emotions jammed into a few days. They are a great bunch of Artists and being a member of the group is an honor. I’ll have to work very very hard.
I still plan on participating in the shows as in the past. These being the Cody Museum show, and the miniature show at the National Museum Wildlife in Jackson, both in September. Also the Coors show at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, and the Gilcrease Rendevous in Tulsa Oklahoma.
I do have a lot of work to do and am looking forward to it. There are blue skies ahead.
Life is short, give your loved ones a hug.
T.D.
